There is Nothing Like a Dame!

  

Members from all five of our choirs, Pinner, Dunstable, Berkhamsted, Milton Keynes and Watford gathered in the beautiful surroundings of the Walled Garden and Luton Hoo Estate to help raise funds for the British Red Cross. Everyone was surprised by a visit from Dame Judi Dench who visited the craft fair to do a bit of early Christmas Shopping.



After performing our two sets we were surprised and delighted to be asked if we would sing some more songs for Dame Judi as she had missed our performance whilst shopping and really
wanted to listen to us!

Unsurprisingly we said yes!

We performed four of our songs to a very appreciative audience and then the  lovely lady suggested we might like to have a few photos taken with her.

Unsurpisingly we said yes!

Rock Chorus has started its very busy run up to Christmas with a double at Luton Hoo this weekend. The diary is full with Community events for November 5th and Christmas Lights as well as charity fundraisers all the way to mid December.

I wonder if we can top a visit from a Dame before the year is out!!
