Rock Chorus, gathered together with a bunch of their famous friends for a very special concert on October 15th, 2011.

Mungo Jerry, Osibisa, Alvin Stardust, Tight Fit and Voices with Soul joined 120 Rock Chorus members on stage for a three hour concert to a full house at the Dunstable Conference Centre. Other big names filmed personal interviews and performances for Rock Chorus – amongst them Ruby Turner, Marillion, TV’s Nick Knowles and Nicky Campbell and also Graham Gouldman of 10CC fame.
As well as ticket sales for the event, Rock Chorus also held tombola, a prize draw and an auction bringing in further funds. This wonderful DVD package entitled “Singit Back” is now available of the concert and can be purchased from the Rock Chorus website, - All proceeds will go to the Luton and Dunstable hospital Macmillan Cancer Care Unit.
Rock Chorus perform frequently and always for charity based events - so being out there giving something back is very important to us! Rock Chorus can be seen performing at The Grove Theatre in Dunstable on the 29th January in ‘Let’s face the Music’ and at The Stantonbury Theatre in Milton Keynes in March - Keep an eye on “Gigs and Events”.
Lauren Field says "Singing is one of the strongest glues for encouraging positive community development - In Rock Chorus we say "Every Voice Counts" - we want people to come because they love singing, enjoy the experience and want to make new friends, pure and simple as that - It’s a no-brainer, great fun and good for your health – there aren’t too many things you can say that about" Lauren Field (Rock Chorus founder and leader)
