Stantonbury Newsflash!

22nd March 2012
The Lions Club of Bletchley and Rock Chorus are proud to annouce that the gig on March 17th at Stantonbury in Milton Keynes was a huge success!

Performing to a sell out crowd, we raised over £1,000 net profit which will go to the Lions Charities.  The Easter Egg raffle raised over £200 which will go direct to MacMillan Nurses.  Well done Rock Chorus and everyone who came along to support us on the night.

And the best part?  We get to do it all again next year - 16th March, 2013 - save the date!

Rock 'n roll!!

We've also received fantastic feedback from members of the audience and we thought we'd share this one:

Dear Rock Chorus/The Lions Club of Bletchley

I was fortunate enough to attend the concert at The Stantonbury Campus with my sister last Saturday and was quite captivated. I felt the marvellous variety of songs by such an assortment of artists was absolutely great.

I especially appreciated “Poison” by Alice Cooper, the Olympic song and “Tonight’s Going To Be A Good Night”.

What struck me as I watched the performers, apart from their lovely voices, was the sheer unadulterated enjoyment on their faces.  They looked so blissfully happy.
What a wonderful thing it is – to feel happy inside as well as giving the audience such immense pleasure.

Keep up the good work. 12 out of 10!

Yours sincerely

J
